the Sculpture of this seiya is almost done, soon will be time to work on the topology, rigging and shaders.

Now i'm starting to model for the fist chapter of the manga, first and second chapter will be almost panel by panel from the original manga. After that, there will be a lot of story changes to acomodate most of the concepts presented on the many saint seiya media.

i'm changing body proprotions to be more like chimaki kuori and shiori teshirogi styles that fit more my design taste.

I started to focus on modeling the characters that will apear on this chapters

This is "Training Suit Seiya" initial block out, next one will probably "Training Suit Marin"


Also, i'm planning to call this project "Saint Seiya: Rebirth", "Rebirth" is also the meaning of my name, so i think it's nice XD

Not a manga version but a Saint seiya commission that is taking my time from this projetct XD
The dragon v3 I will be able to use it but It will take a lot of time till I reach Hades story arc XD

mostly maya and zbrush, but now i'm migrating from maya to blender

Just finished with this one, I recognize several things that should be improved but this is just a study. I will improve my rendering and photography with lots of these studies till I'm ready to publish the first chapter of the manga. Hope you guys like it.

still need to fix a lot the render and model the rest of the coliseum but the arena is almost done:

man, it's so hard to transition to another modeling software... but the coliseum is comming along

since now i'm able to pose it I did a 1920x1080 wallpaper

The face still a WIP but it's finally suiting my taste

I'm really liking the armor and clothes materials. Now I just need to fix a few things with the skin, hair, face texture and eyes. Then it will be ready to rigging and animating. After this I will model the galaxy war colisseum and do a animation to present the character.

 

Testing some materials on pegasus armor. Seiya is almost done, just need to texture the clothing and body.
 

update: Fixed some normal issues and the armor hue, the first one was morte suited for hyoga than seiya

Hair testing and a real bronze color for the armor just for testing some visuals:

Creating material to reproduce the death and damage to the saints' armor

This will be an attempt of remake/reboot of the original manga including concepts and plot points of other SS parallel stories like lost canvas, episode G, gigantomachia and santia sho. Every thing will be done with CGI(imagine the manga structure with CGI renders on each manga panel, the only animation on it will be light and particles effects)

this is the first preview of the bronze saints. i'm still fixing some issues like face details and hair.

ps: this whole project is a study for me, I want to get better on the aspects of CGI that are involved on creating this manga.
