MAFEX IRON SPIDER Sample Review

 

Hello everyone!
This is a staff of PERFECT-STUDIO!

We introduce the MAFEX IRON SPIDER this time.
As we finally received the product sample,
I hope we can convey the attractiveness of the item.

Let’s take a look at the packaging first!

The design point is the IRON SPIDER is in the cool yellow
which is the theme color of infinity war! The blister inside is
partially two layered structure and the spider thread parts are stored under the wrist or Pincer.
(You may be aware of “that” at this point, but I will tell you later on ….)

Now, let’s take a look at the whole body!

“What is the color going on?”
I think many of you are worried with an expectations and fears mixed,
so let’s take look first…

 

What do you think!?

Reproduced metallic red x metallic blue body which is
IRON SPIDER’s characteristic color!
The shiny body that seems to smell like the new car.
It was a challenge of the production but we were able to manage it.
I think that everyone will be satisfied if you can get it by hand…!

The three types of head include. The masked face with regular sized eyes,
glare eyes and a normal face produced by digital printing.
And we have renewed the equipment for digital printing this time!
More detailed reproduction became possible!
The new products will be produced with the new printer from now on,
so please look forward it as well.

 

And there is one more point about the body.
It is a new Web Shooter on the wrist.
It is a shape that would otherwise interfere with the articulation,
but this time it is a separate part, and it has a more slidable structure.

While securing the clearance which attaches spider thread parts by this structure,
it also works as a cover so that the wrist joint does not seen too much in normal times.
Creating the good articulation and good looks at same time is always a challenge,
but we are proud that we could made both well this time.

 

The next is “That”!
The special equipment Pincer, the most characteristic equipment of IRON SPIDER!
It was gold in the coloring sample, but after correction and re-supervision,
it became the same coloring as in the movie!
(Please note that the picture before the correction is used for the package.)
It became cooler when the blue color is inserted.

 

pincer has a spherical joint connection at its base,
and each joint can move axially, so it can be greatly moved.
The IRON SPIDER itself has the same structure as the Homecoming Spiderman,
so a wide range of articulation is secured,
and the combination of those two makes it possible for the great action poses!

 

In addition, the movable figure stand,
the leg parts with magnets that became standard,
the long and short types of spider thread parts for the wrists as well as
the spider thread parts for the hand holding are included two each.

 

You can enjoy for a long time with a great play value!

No colecciono nada de súper héroes (ni relacionado con cómics, ni universos cinematográficos) pero he de reconocer que esta figura está genial. Se nota que MAFEX le ha metido horas de cariño. Aunque se parece bastante a Tom Holland, hubiese preferido para la cabeza con máscara el sistema de lentes de quita y pon que nos mostraste unas páginas más atrás.

 

Por lo que comentas en rojo, pues es lo que venimos diciendo desde hace un tiempo. Mientras la Bandida sigue regalándonos Dookus color chocolate o Vaders con capitas de cosplay, el resto se ponen las pilas y nos van trayendo figurones (más o menos, hola John Wick, XD).

 

Y que no paren, que al final los beneficiados seremos siempre nosotros.

Tuve la shf de Harley y aunque el rostro estaba bien no me terminaba de gustar, con esta me pasa mas o menos igual la verdad... me mola bastante mas la revo que va a salir o la shf de Injustice

Entiendo que es ironía compañero!

No es broma, ironía, o sarcasmo, la figuarts como producto tiene mejor acabado.

- El material es mejor (el plástico lo percibo mas denso).

- La textura es más sutil, hasta el relieve es uniforme (los patrones que sobresalen de su ropa dan la apariencia de algún tipo de material elastico o expansible, como si fuera de verdad).

- Los bordes entre colores están mejor delimitados (solo haz zoom para que compares), el color dorado sobresale más, y el mate del azul es más preciso al visto en pantalla. En la Mafex el color rojo se ve barato y no metálico.

- La articulación torácica en la figura de Mafex esta muy por debajo de lo normal y demasiado amplia para un adolescente, se ve gigante como si fuera nadador olímpico, y lo hicieron así para no dividir el símbolo arácnido.

- La pelvis y cadera, terrible en Mafex, ya es 2019 para que continúen haciendo el típico calzón que dificulta la movilidad y deja espacios cuando posas la figura. También el pivote del muslo empieza muy arriba precisamente por esta articulación de pañal (debido a que la cadera solo tiene dos puntos de articulación el muslo debe ir pegado a la cadera), como consecuencia, de ello, el muslo solo puede gira unos pocos milímetros ( mira la tercera foto, donde se encuentra utilizando de apoyo la mano izquierda, aquí la pierna izquierda se mantiene recta y rígida, quien esta haciendo todo el trabajo es la articulación del tobillo, mira que grandes son).

- La rodilla está bastante burda cuando flexiona la pierna, no esta nada disimulada.

 

Claro, tiene sus cosas buenas en comparación a la figuarts:

- La mascara esta mas ovalada, es más realista, la figuarts tiene una esfera de cara, parece un balón de basquetball.

- A spiderman figuarts le sobra musculatura, el segmento inferior de la figura mafex se asemeja mas a la pelvis y piernas del actor , digamos que la figuarts esta "chubby"o regordete. 

- Los tobillos de la figuarts son casi inservibles, ocultos y chicos, y la articulación mas importante de una figura es esta, porque sin ella las figuras no se pueden mantener fijas, si tienes un mal tobillo las figuras se caen constantemente. Pero esto es un problema en casi todas las lineas de SH Figuarts, a excepción de figuras con mayor escala. Básicamente las figuarts necesitan un stand para que las puedas posar.

- El diseño es mas apegado a la película, la figuarts no se de donde tomaron el boceto porque se han inventado muchas cosas.

- Los apéndices están meticulosamente detallados, los figuarts planos en color y esculpido, también están muy gruesos.

- Tiene más accesorios, inclusive una cara descubierta bien esculpida.

- Y como dice el compi KMKA, los pies parecen botines de jugador.

 

Como te digo, el producto, en general, es mejor, ya depende de tí que prefieras.

Creo que como figura de acción, es mejor la SHF, por todo lo expuesto por el compañero @Tortoiseturtle, pero como representación del personaje me parece más fiel la MAFEX.

 

El SHF tiene un cuerpo demasiado, digamos, estándar. La cabeza es peor en cuanto a modelado y fidelidad (en mi humilde opinión), y los pies parecen los botines que se gastaban los jugadores en el PES 6 (en general todo el tren inferior es bastante "random"). Eso por no hablar del cromado, el cual se le resiste a SHF figura tras figura (Hola Phasma 2.0), cosa que no comprendo porque los Model Kit de Bandai tienen un cromado estupendo. Ademas, tanto las "patas de araña" como el acabado brilli-brilli son más fieles a la película en la MAFEX.

 

Lástima que no se puedan meter las dos en una coctelera, Termomix, o batidora para hacer un IronSpider perfecto. Mientras tanto, ambas son grandes figuras, cada una con sus pros y sus contras.
