Loranzo
Japan Expo 2020 2/5 July 2020 Tsukasa HÔJÔ, Manga Guest of Honor for the 40th anniversary of his career !40 years is an occasion to celebrate, all the more when we’re talking about the career of such a talented, illustrious, and inspiring artist as Tsukasa HÔJÔ: it is such an honor for Japan Expo to welcome the mangaka of City Hunter and Cat’s Eye on this exceptional anniversary and as the Manga Guest of Honor for the 21st Impact ! If at first it was the anime adaptations of his two most famous manga, City Hunter and Cat’s Eye, that got Tsukasa HÔJÔ to get known in Europe, a much larger and deeper work was awaiting the fans. From his first one shot back in 1980, Ore wa Otoko Da!, to this day, the mangaka has published many one shots and several long series, Cat’s Eye and City Hunter obviously, followed by Rash!!, F. Compo, and in the 2000s, Angel Heart. Now Tsukasa HÔJÔ continues his work and inspires many other artists. In 2019 were released an animated movie, Shinjuku Private Eyes, a live action film made in France, Nicky Larson et le parfum de Cupidon, and the manga City Hunter Rebirth, a spin-off by Sokura NISHIKI who worked with Tsukasa HÔJÔ himself. The mangaka has also turned to cinema, his first love, and is making his debut as a film director with Angel Sign, an adaptation of several silent manga. Japan Expo is honored to welcome Tsukasa HÔJÔ to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his incredible career! Follow our news to find out about his program at Japan Expo in the upcoming month, but we can already announce a live drawing, signings, and a masterclass. quierountopo
Para anunciar novedades no hacen falta eventos, afortunadamente. Es una pena no poder verlas expuestas, pero lo importante es que siga habiendo novedades y que estas sean anunciadas. Ya habrá tiempo de exponerlas...
